2016 Kia Sedona Bound for Showrooms With $27,295 Starting Price

The 2016 Kia Sedona minivan starts at $27,295, including an $895 destination charge, reflecting a $300 price increase over the base 2015 model.

The midlevel 2016 Sedona EX starts at $33,595, including shipping, for a price increase of $400.

The top-of-the-line 2016 Sedona SX Limited starts at $40,795, including shipping, reflecting a $200 price increase.

It is expected to arrive at Kia dealerships this summer.

Kia Motors America said the 2016 Sedona enters its second model year "with limited changes."

New for 2016 is a standard rearview camera on all models. For L and LX models, cloth seat material is now tricot, replacing the previous knit fabric.

The 2016 Sedona EX now comes standard with heated front seats. The 2016 SX and SXL models now offer eight-passenger seating when equipped with the $3,700 technology package.

The Sedona is equipped with a 3.3-liter V6 engine that delivers 276 horsepower. The engine is linked to a six-speed automatic transmission.
