2016 KIA SEDONA PREVIEW

As for fuel economy, the 2016 Kia Sedona offers up the same engine across the board, however trim and equipment level change those numbers slightly across the board so fuel economy ranges from 9.7L/100km to 10.5L/100km on the highway, and between 13.2L/100km and 14.2L/100km in the city.

Powertrain: As mentioned above, only one engine is available across the lineup, and that’s a 3.3L GDI V6 that produces 276 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels and is handled via a 6-speed automatic transmission. There are no other transmission choices.
Changes and Improvements: While no major changes were made, Kia has started referring to its Sedona as a multi-purpose vehicle instead of a minivan so as to attract more buyers and those who are “afraid” of the minivan label.
Cargo Capacity: The 2016 Kia Sedona can seat up to 8 passengers and features 960 litres of cargo space behind the third row. Fold that third row down and that number jumps to 2,220 litres.
Safety: The 2016 Kia Sedona features all manner of standard safety equipment and airbags as well as an available all-around 360-degree camera, rearview backup camera, rear-traffic alert, blind-sport warning, collision warning, and lane departure warning, too.
