2015 Kia Soul Redefines Individuality and Becomes Electric

TOPEKA, Kan, Sept. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ Passionate about design, there was no question about it when Kia introduced the first generation of Souls that debuted in 2008. The release of the second generation Souls that arrived this year further accentuate Kia's commitment to creating a vehicle that is visually recognizable as a Kia and truly unique.

The 2015 Kia Soul has officially arrived at Briggs Kia in Topeka, Kansas and is available in three trim levels: base, + and !. Intended to handle city driving with ease and satisfy the popular design style of a hatchback, the all-new Soul is equipped with one of two engine choices; either the standard 1.6-liter four-cylinder capable of 130-horsepower and a fuel economy of 24 city/ 30 highway mpg, or the more powerful 2.0-liter four-cylinder.
Even more efficient is the addition of the electric 2015 Kia Soul that initially will only be available in California; until its availability further extends, Briggs Kia will continue to keep drivers up-to-date on news, performance and technology information. Equipped with a grille that slides aside to reveal a charge port, drivers have three different ways to charge the Soul EV: a 120-volt, 240-volt and the DC Fast Charge which comes standard and charges the battery 80-percent in 30 minutes.

Drivers will have the freedom to charge at home, work or at one of the thousands of public locations. Next-level technology, in both the electric and nonelectric versions of the the 2015 Kia Soul, is just another way that Kia strives to use convenience and vehicle intelligence to create a more comfortable ride.

Briggs Kia strives to serve Topeka as well as surrounding cities by not providing new model information but also by sharing insight on ways to help prolong the life of their current vehicle. The dealer welcomes all drivers that are in search of an honest and affordable service department that performs routine maintenance on a daily basis to visit.
